House Rules for LuxVil Apartment House
Please read this to ensure that you and the other guests can relax undisturbed.

LuxVil Apartment House was built with the aim of making you feel comfortable during your relaxation time. As operators, we do everything to create a peaceful and friendly environment, and for you to fully enjoy your vacation at Lake Balaton and our services. 

In short, the most important thing: Feel at home and don’t do anything you wouldn’t do in your own apartment, house, or garden!

To keep the house, furniture, garden, and pool in good condition, clean, and tidy, we ask you to leave them in the state in which you found them upon your arrival. If you notice a mistake or a problem, please contact us immediately!

1. Check-In / Check-Out

1.1. At check-in, every guest must complete a registration form, which we have to verify using photographic documentation.
1.2. You can check into the house from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival, and on the day of departure, we ask you to leave by 10:00 AM.
1.3. If you have other wishes regarding the arrival and departure times, we can, of course, arrange this as well, but ideally, we ask you to coordinate this at the time of booking. If a late check-out interferes with the cleaning staff, we charge a fee of 50 EUR per hour. This applies only if the next group of guests has to wait due to you.
1.4. We always accompany the arrival and departure. Departing without consultation can cause problems since the check-out involves the checking of items in the house and the condition of the house, as well as the refund of the deposit.
1.5. If you depart before the end of the booked holiday, we cannot refund the accommodation costs.
1.6. Please do not bring more people than you have indicated at the time of booking!
1.7. The apartment is only rented to people who know each other. Strangers, unfamiliar families will not be in the house at the same time. Occasional visitors can only be received with the knowledge and consent of the landlord.

2. Payment / Invoicing

2.1. Please pay the price for the booking period by bank transfer before arrival.
2.2. To book the accommodation, 50% of the total amount must be transferred to our account. After that, we consider the booking as guaranteed.
2.3. Upon arrival, a deposit of 150 EUR must be paid. The deposit can be paid in cash or by credit card (Visa, American Express, Mastercard, etc.) or debit card, including foreign cards.
2.4. If you pay the deposit with the card, the amount is always understood in EUR.
2.5. There is the possibility of an instant bank transfer, but only if no international transaction is initiated. This allows the amount to reach our account immediately.
2.6. The deposit will be refunded at check-out, upon departure.

3. Holiday with Children

3.1. Services of the LuxVil Apartment House can be used by children under 18 only in the presence of parents or a legally competent adult.
3.2. The child’s companions are responsible for any damages caused by the child. 

4. Rental Costs

4.1. It is possible to rent the LuxVil Apartment only for a weekend, but in this case, you should expect additional costs.
4.2. As a rule, the minimum rental period is 1 week, and you should expect the following costs:
4.3. The calculation of costs is simple. We always rent the entire apartment, and the current daily rate always applies.
4.4. A certain amount of energy is available daily, which is included in the rent.
4.5. The average daily consumption is set at 35 kWh, including the average use of household appliances and the operation of the pool.
4.6. If the average consumption is not sufficient, you can use the air conditioners and the electric car charging station as desired, and you can set the pool temperature to the desired value. In this case, the above-average energy consumption must be settled at the end of the stay at the current energy price.
4.7. We do not make a profit from the additional energy consumption; you only have to pay the electricity costs of our energy supplier. This is 1 kWh 70 HUF (0.2 EUR) – as of 14.05.2023.
4.8. For a rental period of less than 1 week, the guest has to bear the cleaning costs. This means costs of 100 EUR per floor.

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1. In case of booking cancellation, we can:
– cancel free of charge up to 30 days before the start of the booked holiday, and we refund the full amount without deduction.
– offer no refund within 30 days.
5.2. Cancellations must be made in writing, by email. Of course, you can also inform us by phone, but we still need written confirmation.

6. Use of Parking Spaces

6.1. The inner, closed parking lot may only be used by our guests.
6.2. Parking is only possible in the designated areas. Parking on the lawn, on sidewalks, and everywhere else is forbidden.
6.3. It is forbidden to carry out maintenance work on the vehicle in the parking lot.

7. Cleaning

7.1. We always hand over the house, garden, grill, and pool cleaned.
7.2. If you notice a cleanliness problem upon your arrival, please inform us immediately, as we cannot accept complaints afterwards.
7.3. The weekly basic cleaning is free of charge. We will coordinate the timing with you. In addition to the cleaning, all bed linens and towels are changed.
7.4. The weekly basic cleaning is free of charge. We coordinate the timing with you. However, you can request additional daily cleaning, the cost of which is 75 EUR per floor and 150 EUR for the entire house.

8. Smoking and open fire are SRRICRY FORIIDDN throughout the house!

8.1. There is a designated smoking area (balcony, garden), where smoking is permitted. Please dispose of cigarette butts exclusively in the provided trash cans to maintain cleanliness.
8.2. If legal actions are initiated against the landlord due to unauthorized smoking, the offender must refund the costs (the imposed fine).
8.3. It is possible to cook and grill outdoors, but only with the suitable equipment provided by the landlord at a designated place in the garden.

9. Use of the YuxVil Apartment House

9.1. Upon arrival and departure, we hand over the house and the garden with the corresponding inventory equipment, clean, undamaged, and complete, and we expect it back in the same state. Please use furnishings, furniture, and kitchen appliances properly. We will calculate costs for disturbances due to improper use or possible losses at your departure.

9.2. For hygienic reasons, it is forbidden to remove the furnishings and equipment of the rooms, including towels, blankets, bedding, etc., from the house!
9.3. Please inform us immediately of any operational failure or failure of a facility in the house.
9.4. The use of garden equipment, the pool, and the house is at your own risk.
9.5. It is forbidden to store or use easily flammable or explosive materials in the rooms and to use coffee machines, kettles, irons, and other electrical devices. This is possible in the kitchens.

10. WiFi, Internet Access

10.1. We provide our guests with free WI-FI, the password for which we provide upon registration.
10.2. The provider guarantees the quality of internet access, the strength of the connection, the continuous, uninterrupted operation, and the availability of the WiFi.
10.3. The use of WiFi for illegal activities is strictly forbidden.
10.4. The operator cannot be held responsible for damages that occurred during or as a result of the use of WiFi on the guest’s equipment or its content or safety. The use of the service is at your own risk.

11. Guests Arriving with Dogs and Pets

11.1. We are a pet-friendly accommodation, we love animals, and therefore ask our guests arriving with dogs to comply with the house rules:
– The dog should not have unsupervised access to public areas. It should not enter other houses and should not disturb the peace of other guests.
– It is forbidden to let the dog into the pool, to swim or bathe!
11.2. For damages caused by the dog (in the garden and in the house alike), the owner of the animal or the person who brought it along is responsible.
11.3. Please bring the dog’s health and vaccination book.
11.4. The pet owner is obliged to immediately pick up the dog’s feces and throw it in the trash in a sealed bag.
11.5. Please bring in any case the safety-relevant and other additional equipment for your pet.
11.6. The furnishing of the house includes considerable costs. Bringing animals into the accommodation is only possible against an additional deposit of 100 EUR.

12. Cameras on the Premises

12.1. The camera system is divided into two parts:
– Constant streaming or surveillance of the following areas: Front fence, laundry room, attic, pool service house
– Only local recording of the following cameras: Pool and pergola area – these are completely private areas for guests.
12.2. The signal is not sent to the internet during local recording. If online streaming is taking place, the red lamp above the laundry room door is on. The operator can only turn these cameras on with the permission of the guests.
12.3. We respect privacy, and any surveillance of the guests is forbidden to us.
12.4. The recordings are deleted within a week after the departure day, as long as everything was fine. The recordings may only be viewed by the operator or someone else in the event of a problem. The use and view of the recordings require compliance with legal guidelines by the operator.
12.5. Smoke, carbon monoxide, mold, and motion sensors are located in the house as part of the security equipment.
12.6. Any image or sound recordings or any surveillance are not permitted for us.

13. Rhe Peace of the eighbors and the Surrounding

13.1. Noise, music, noise-intensive activities, disturbing volume when listening to music, watching TV, radio, etc., which could disturb the peace of the neighbors, are forbidden between 22:00 and 8:00.
13.2. We are a quiet, peaceful place, therefore any behavior or conduct that disturbs the peace, safety, the sense of security, or the privacy of others is forbidden at all times.
13.3. An employee of the operator has the right to warn the disturbing and/or noisy guest. The first warning is free of charge, for the second and third warning the operator charges the bill of the warned guest with 20 EUR each. After the third warning, the operator has the right to expel the guest immediately and without refund and/or compensation obligation from the guesthouse.
13.4. The operator rejects any responsibility for any damage that the guest’s behavior causes to another guest.
13.5. Any economic activity or political or social demonstrations, their preparation and advertising are not allowed on the premises of the accommodation.
13.6. In questions not regulated by the house rules, the relevant laws of the Civil Code apply.

14. Maintenance

14.1. The premises may only be entered by the operator or someone else with the permission of the guests. 
However, the guests must let the responsible persons onto the premises in the following situations:
– Pool caretaker, this can be up to twice a week on the yard area.
– The cleaning lady for the laundry room area, she does not enter the house.
– Water, electricity, gas service workers on the yard area.
– At previously agreed appointments a specialist in case of a breakdown into the house.
14.2. Without prior notice or ringing, it is not allowed for the operator or anyone else to enter the property, except for the guests.

15. Waste Disposal:

15.1. Please use the trash bins in the kitchen and bathroom for collecting household waste, lined exclusively with trash bags.

16. Yaundry Facility

In our apartment, we welcome our dear guests with a comfortable laundry room equipped with 2 washing machines and 2 dryers for your use. For the first usage, we provide a small amount of laundry detergent. However, if you wish to wash a larger quantity of clothing, you will need to supply your own detergent. An iron and its corresponding ironing board are also available for your convenience. The use of the laundry room is complimentary. We kindly ask you to keep the appliances and the room clean. If you encounter any issues or have questions about the settings, please contact the property manager. We are always happy to assist you in any way possible!

17. Miscellaneous:

17.1. The use of the electric car charging station is only allowed for people over 18 years old.
17.2. We can store forgotten valuables for 2 months, and if they are reported to us within the specified period, we send them to the specified address. Of course, if we know who left them there, we will contact you immediately.
17.3. We would like to point out that the landlord can not take responsibility and pay no compensation for damages resulting from events that are beyond his control (e.g., natural disasters, hail, fire, power outage, damage in the parking lot, etc.).
17.4. The landlord reserves the right to refuse or immediately remove from the accommodation guests who behave scandalously or do not comply with the house rules.

18.1. Our apartment provides a 24-hour emergency service during your stay (in Hungarian, German, and English).
